Anne Maitland, MD, PhD

Allergy/Immunology Specialist

Dr. Maitland is board-certified in allergy & immunology and internal medicine. She previously served as the medical director of Comprehensive Allergy & Asthma Care in New York and Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. 

As an allergy/immunology specialist at Metrodora Institute, Dr. Maitland’s clinical and research efforts are focused on increasing access to allergy and immunology specialty care. She is also one of the country’s top experts in immune-mediated disorders, including mast cell disease (MCD). She is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and Vice Chair of the Allergy/Immunology Work Group of the National Medical Association. She also serves on the scientific faculty for the Mast Cell Disease Society, the Ehlers-Danlos Society’s International Consortium and the Chiari-Syringomyelia Foundation.
